There is silence in response to the telepathic communication. Gray is receptive, just like his brother, but entirely unpracticed. If Jono can tell, Gray is no longer running, but he hasn't the strength to move back to where it happened. Instead, he's given up and let his legs crumbled under him, sitting on the floor and crying softly. He's so deeply confused now, lost in his own insanity and guilt.
