It's understandable. Jackson's knots are contributing to Jono's, though, and Jono really doesn't need that right now. Not when he needs to keep himself together for both their sakes. "Come on. Reckon we should do our part for the environment?" Which was his way of asking if they should share a shower. It would relax them both.
