For the moment, Gray is sleeping soundly, but only due to the mild sedatives he's being given. His mind is very erratic beyond the haze of sleep, though there's nothing to say that isn't its current state due to trauma or a permanent state due to something else.
Jackson smiles back at his mom, then leads the way out of the room after squeezing Jono's hand again. He closes the door behind them, then heads back down the corridor in the direction Jono came from. "Feels weird being back," he admits after a moment of walking.
