Jackson budges out into the hallway and lets the door to the room slide shut behind him. He has to get used to the idea that letting Gray out of his sight doesn't mean that he'll go missing again. Gray is safe here, on this ship, and it's all right to leave him alone, to sleep.
"Hey," he greets just as quietly, shuffling his feet somewhat awkwardly. "How are you doing?"
